Security Requirements at Esperance Port

New security measures were introduced at Esperance Port in accordance with the requirements of the Maritime Transport Security Regulations 2003 as of July 1 2004.

Security Regulated Port

Entry to the Port and particularly the berths is restricted to those persons with a legitimate reason for entry. Access is controlled by electronic access cards. All access gates are monitored by CCTV backed up by security patrols. Unauthorised entry to a restricted area constitutes an offence. Illegal entry attracts a penalty of $10,000 under the Maritime Transport Security Regulations 2003.

New Photo Id Access Cards

Any person who requires access to the Port will require a security induction and should apply to the Port Security Manager John Stuart on 0412 456 334 or by email to portsecurity@epsl.com.au to book an induction time and to obtain a new access card.
